Graifer) Organization: Coastal Capital Funding Corp., McLean, VA Lines: 28 (My apologies if this appears twice, it didn't appear to work the 1st time) We are trying to figure out how to connect our Unix machines to some Unisys A-series boxes. The unix machines are some 386s running V.3.1 and some (soon to be delivered) Sequent Symmetry/2000 machines, all running the Berkeley and Arpanet suites of applications over tcp/ip on thin ethernet. The A-series machines are talking BNA over 802.3. Unisys wants to sell us $80K worth of front end communication processor and ftp software to put on the A-series boxes. Our question is: Is there some third party software out there that will put a BNA stack (whatever BNA is!) next to the ip stack on one of our unix machines? We need to be able to log into the A-series, and perform file transfer operations from the unix network. I've heard a company with initials 'ICC' does Unisys networking. Are they on the net? Somebody have a phone number? Thanks in advance, Dan -- Daniel A. Graifer Coastal Capital Funding Corp.
