I have SCO UNIX with STREAMS and TCP/IP and the Development package. I have the KA9Q DRIVER.ZIP file from SIMTEL (3/91 version) and have not really had the time to deeply research it's capabilities. I would like terminal emulation capabilities, file transfer and if it is possible, device sharing capabilities: print file from another computer on a printer on yet another computer. I need this ability on direct connect and dialup lines (1200-14400 baud). I have heard alot recently about PPP and SLIP - what are they and how can I get the files to use them? I only have mail and news access, no ftp over usenet. My employer is not connected to USENET. I have never accessed ftp via email and don't have instuctions. Please help. Any info is appreciated. Email if possible. Thanks. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Douglas A. Pavey This is not an official document of Programmer/Analyst Syncor International.
