When a call comes in I get garbage on the screen so I know to turn off the modem and pick up the phone. I normally am using vi which can recover its session so when I get back on I just recover it and continue. Also note that if you don't want this behaviour then you can disable the call waiting by dialing *70 prior to dialing the outgoing call. I generally prefer to be able to continue to get my calls so I don't disable it. Lou Kates, Teleride Sage Ltd., louk%tslwat@watmath.waterloo.edu 519-725-0646
