We are looking for a public-domain software package that will allow us to process our images. Specifically we would like to do: -contrast stretching -palette manipulation -subarea utilities -etc... Our images are currently in Tiff format. I know that such a package exists and was written for microscopy, for use on PCs and Mac's. Unfortunately I never got the ftp site correct. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks muchly... John Bowron, Dept. Physics, University of Waterloo, Canada Scanning Laser Microscopy Lab semicon@watsci.uwaterloo.ca
