I think we, collectively, ought to agree on where this stuff gets posted. Pascal or Windows programming. Please pick one and don't shotgun this stuff out. Most of the ms.windows.programmer readers are C and C++ programmers, but there is Pascal knowledge there too. I just hate answering someone's question only to find the same posting in another group. Which one is the poster going to read? Am I wasting my time trying to help someone, with no guarantee that he will even read the msg? Please excuse the dogma, but I didn't get enough sleep last night and this hit a nerve this morning. Sleep does wonders :-) Comp.lang.c++ seems to have settled down to where Borland/Turbo type questions are not asked there any more. They are supposed to go to something like comp.os.msdos.programmer or comp.windows.ms.programmer. It's a tougher call for this group because there doesn't seem to be much pascal usage outside of the Borland version(s) where much of the world doesn't use Borland/Turbo C++. Any ideas? bruce p.s. Almost never is the time wasted. For every poster there are 100s of lurkers who may be having similiar problems. -- Bruce O'Neel oneel@heasfs.gsfc.nasa.gov NASA/GSFC/STX/Code 664
