Standard resolution (which is low resolution!) is 8 dots per millimeter horizontally and 3,85 lines per millimeter vertically (which is 203.2 dpi by 97.79 lpi), fine resolution is 7,7 l/mm (195.58 lpi). BTW, on PCs PostScript can be converted to PCX or TIFF for example by using Goscript or Ultrascript (both commercial products) and with some adaptation by Ghostscript as well.
