i'm having a problem with mh when i receive and incorporate
a message containing a tarmail archive.  this is a compressed
and the btoa'ed file.  the problem only seems to occur with
large files, > 100K.  i can't see what is happening to the
file to corrupt it but i can't reverse the encoding process.

any thoughts?
