Last time I checked, ucsd.edu /midi/software/... permitted
"put".  Download the relevant readme files for the /midi
directory and send a note to the archive coordinator,
or "root@ucsd.eud" to let him know that you've added something.

I added some Mac things to /midi/software/macintosh several
months ago and I see that they are still there ... ;-)
