If you check this list, about a week ago, I posted a gripe about the size of the ACM stubs. The next day, I had E-mail back from someone at ACM who obviously reads this list (or bit.listserv.acm-l at least) who let me know that they are using up their stock of the oversized stuff. I don't know why you aren't getting a response from them. Does your mailer have an ACK option on your notes? Go figure!
