You'll plese note that the original posting said "*consenting* members'
names" [emphasis and correct punctuation added].  This is significantly
different from sharing, selling, or renting their list as a whole.

I agree completely about salting the list, though; it's important, if
only because it might help you detect an intruder into the system where
you keep the list.
