Including source, binaries, SUN patches, and the archives (sun-managers, sun-spots, and sun-nets) the grand total comes to: 523115 kilobytes. Then we had to leave room for Young Minds to add their software (mapping tables for converting UNIX filenames to ISO 8 character filenames, etc.) A tough decision to make, but we decided to forego Sun3 binaries in order to have enough room for everything we wanted to include. I am sure things could have been done better, but this is our first CD and believe me, next year will be better. The CD Project team is preparing a report for the SUG Board complete with recommendations on "what not to do". We may do a Sun3 tape or CD if the demand warrants (let us hear from you!) Also, if not having Sun3 binaries makes the disk worthless to you and you have already ordered one, of course your money will be refunded. Please send all flames on the Sun3 issue to me and not the SUG staff as they are not responsible for this particular decision - the project team was and as the project leader, I'll take the heat. Take a look at the TOC, we think most folks will find the CD useful. Dinah McNutt internet: dinah@bcm.tmc.edu | dinah@sug.org | dinah@expert.com
