Keywords: QMS PS-410, HP compatible Message-ID: <1991Jun7.151228.4322@athena.cs.uga.edu> Date: 7 Jun 91 15:12:28 GMT Organization: University of Georgia, Athens Lines: 14 A colleague is about to purchase a laser printer for a combined PC/Mac student lab. I would like to recommend the QMS PS-410 to him, which was highly rated by MacUser magazine (March 1991) for its "emulation sensing processor." However, the question is whether the QMS printer includes the full functionality of the HP LaserJet III (or IIP). Specifically, the primary application to be used on the PC is 386-MATLAB, which is supplied with HP drivers, and we need to know whether this will work "out of the box" with the QMS. If anybody has the definitive answer to this question, or has other comments based on experience with the QMS PS-410 printer, I would appreciate hearing them. Thanks in advance.
