Is it really necessary to introduce yet another syntax for string representation of O/R names? (There are at least three already.) I see nothing that this one contributes that has not already been dealt with by the others. The others do have one major advantage: they are already deployed. Just say no to "standards" that differ from established practice for no obvious reason other than to be different.
