One topic of our studies is a quantitative analysis of
software quality. Our goal is to get control over all
phases of the software life-cycle by using software metrics.
At the moment we have restricted our research to the
maintenance phase, but in future we will look at the other
phases, too.

In this context we have measured programs, which were
developed for Daimler Benz AG. We are interested
in a comparison between our data and results and the ones
you got from similiar studies. We are especially
interested in classical metrics like Halstead or McCabe,
applied to programs for IBM mainframes written in COBOL.
