What I'm looking for is source code to allow an application to access
a serial port on another machine on a TCP/IP network.  This should work
using pty's and provide as much transparency as possible.  I need this
software to work on a SunSparcstation running SunOS 4.1.1.

I can probably create something like this using the model of rlogin/rlogind,
but I am wondering if someone already has done this.
