(In the 1280x1024 range) Also any programe can take advantage of colors. Any user interface in any software can take advantage of colors (If the amiga use the chip ram at full speed ,in the 3000, 4bit hires wont be slow at all) and you dont need to be in the video to use colors for data visualisation... Color is only a +, its only a drawback for aplication when its a major slowdown.
