[On how difficult it is to get the copper to operate with a DIG]

It seems that it would likely be equally easy  (if commodore wished to get a
quick fix out right away, rather than "Do it right the first time") that all
the copper, blitter, sound, etc.. registers could be re-mapped using the MMU
in MOST of the high end machines.  these could be re-mapped to board I/O
registers and that problem would be solved.  however i think CBM really DOES
want to do things right, and not offer kludgy solutions.
