I also had this problem, so I wrote my own plotting program. It does 2d plots (postscript output or amig agraphic preview), it does Chi Squared polynomial fits, it has column math with ERROR PROPAGATION (a really BIG time saver when it comes to doing labs). I have been planning to release it as shareware fairly soon...
