You never see anything except the game. It does take about 30 seconds to finish all of its loading and it NEVER turns off the disk light (even when it is safe to pop the disk out and/or shutdown). It also makes several disconcerting noises in the drive, but I have not seen any evidence of bad effect. Anyway, to spell out the answer to your satisfaction, I have a 3000/50MB/25MHz machine with both the 2.0 and 1.3 partitions. To play Powermonger, I have to do a cold boot from the floppy game disk.
