I've included source, binary & docs (such as they are). See below for most of README: ---------------------------------------------------------------- This is version 1.2 of a program to display or edit an Eye of the Beholder(tm) saved game file. I found in my anxiety (more than once) that I SAVED instead of LOADED a game. So, I decided to see what I could find in the saved file and was able (read it was almost *too* easy) to discover many of the attributes of the characters. This program is the result of that. Changes in 1.2: I changed it to to able to edit 6 characters and put in idiot checking for No. of characters <1 or >6; Changes In 1.1: I found the addresses that control *poisoning* (probably controls paralysis etc too) & *hunger* and added the resetting of these to the restore/resurrect option. If anyone knows or finds out where other "interesting" attributes are either hack up the source yourself & send me a copy or let me know and I'll put them in. -------------------------------------------------------------- -- =============================================================================================== Steve Kelley UMCP CS/UMIACS Internet: skelley@umiacs.umd.edu Usenet: uunet!umiacs.umd.edu!skelley
