I'm not making a value-judgement here, just telling >what I know. Just out of pure wonderment... How does the MAC play these 24 minutes at thirty frames a second? With my past experience with MAC CD-ROMs I got the impression they were pretty slow. Is this a new MAC CD-ROM?? or Are these pictures loaded into memory or something first? or Are the pictures black and white (or small bit planes)? If not what?? Are the images compressed somehow (by just saving the changes) If so does the frame rate fluctuate as the differences in the pictures increase and decrease?? and finally, Do you get images tearing as they move across the screen? Enquiring minds want to know. :-> Derek Lang<<<<< | ACPS1072@Ryerson | "So much to do. So little time." Toronto, ON | - Mr. X Canada |
