It was awfully good.. my own 8 bit machine is a 800- the 130 XE keyboard was (IMHO) awful. But I really loved the soft-touch 1200XL keyboard. I'm no touch typist, no I won't go farther than that, but the soft-touch feel of the 1200XL keyboard I have never seen in any other keyboard ever in any other computer. I sure would have loved to see what the mechanism looked like...... Dave
