Actually two - the first one, two weeks ago, took out my 65XE. I bought a 800XL off a coworker, and now that one is gone too. Roughly the same symptoms. Now, the XF551 is totally dead, the 1050 is flakey, and it looks like the XEP80 is having problems too. (I have a 400 I used to appraise the damage.) This is the first time I have had something break. So I am asking what is the best thing people have found to do - call Atari, local repair shops, etc. Note: I am tempted to upgrade to 32-bits. It will depend upon the cost to repair/replace, and the value I place on the 50,000 tons of software I have collected, not to mention some good Infocom text advs I haven't even booted yet. -Stan
