I really hate doing this, but I cannot find anyone locally who even knows what
Ultima IV is. I am stuck, and need a very minor spoiler/clue:

In the town of Jhelom, I *suspect* that behind the guards at the gate, in those
passages, is where the Rune of Valor lies. I also think there may be a person
or two with clues back there. However, short of attacking and killing all the 
guards, how do I get in there? Attacking the guards costs me 2 of my 4 avatar
parts, and I don't care too much for that.
