It seems that it can't tell when you've swapped disks: "dir" reveals the same directory no matter what disk is in the drive. I didn't do any writing to the disk because I worried that the original disk's FAT info would overwrite the new disk. I've heard of this problem with 720k drives and the solution involved setting a jumper, is this the same problem? Anybody know what jumper I should set. When I took off the cover, no jumpers were set at all. oh yeah, the computer is an original IBM 512k AT with a Western Digital (16 bit) MFM/floppy controller.
