A local retailer has Leading Edge 386SXes on sale for what seems
a good price (16 MHZ 386SX, 1 MB RAM, 40 MB disk, VGA: $1000).

Anybody have recent experience with these guys?  A friend is
shopping and I don't know enough to make/withhold a recommendation.
