I have a 40 track 5.25 drive and I can read and write 35 track diskettes just fine. The determining factor is what DECB or OS-9 is currently configured as. >2. How hard is it to upgrade to 512k? From what I picked up from ads in the > Rainbow, you just plug in the memory board. Also, does the board use DRAMs > or something else? I know it uses 256k chips, but don't know which kind. I have installed 4 or 5 512K upgrades, and it is simply. You remove the existing 4 memory chips, clip out two capacitors, I think C64 and C65, then plug in the upgrade. Be sure to keep your body's static potential equal to the CoCo's! (Use a static strap or always keep part of your body in contact with a ground point onthe motherboard.) The chips in the upgrade are standard DRAMS, 4464's I think, or some number very close! >3. Is there anyway to hook up the RGB output of the Coco to a Tandy CM-11? I don't think that is possible, but someone else may be able to offer more information. Zack Sessions session@seq.uncwil.edu
