Using Laserwriter, and Laserwriter Prep 6.1 a nice print dialog pops up that allows you to save your output as either postscript or print directly to a file. I am on a large UNIX based system and need to download files across this account to the printer. That has all been worked out. New problem: When printing "linked" (next file) documents (the chapters of my thesis) I lose the save as file option. After the first document has printed I get a dreaded LOOKING FOR LASERWRITER dialog. Please does anyone know away to either 1) make print to file the default or 2) make it so I don't lose the save as file option in the middle of the job. Is this a problem with word, system 6.0.7, or with the printer drivers. Please respond to: grayson@seas.ucla.edu Insightfull answers/workable solutions will be summarized at a later date. thanks, dave grayson@hougen.seas.ucla.edu -- David A.
