I susally prefer to have the brightness on my Mac set lower than the 
default, so I use the Brightness CDEV to do this.  My question is this:  why 
doesn't this CDEV save the last brightness level when the machine is shut 
down?  It is becoming annoying to constantly have to go through the Control 
Panel to turn the brightness back down, and the problem has remained even 
after I installed System 7.        Some Classic guru give me an answer, 
please!
