Following their suggestions, it works just fine--for anyone else with

Make sure that your THINK C application is named "THINK C".  If it's named
something like "THINK C 4.0.5", 4Plus won't install itself when you launch
THINK C.  If you really don't want to rename your copy of THINK C, there's
a 'STR ' resource in 4Plus that contains the name of THINK C, which can be
changed with ResEdit.

Be sure the name of THINK C is `THINK C' (with ONE space).
I think one of the Symantec patches added one space for I
don't know which problem. You can also change resource
STR 129 of the init (check the doc - it's at the end).

For system 7.0, put the init in the system folder (not the
extension folder).
