For one of you commToolBox gurus:

I have a program which, when launched, expects a connection to be in
either the modem or printer port.  Anyhow, it procedes to get the
proper connection and start writing/reading from them.  This dies on
System 7.  Do any of you know how to properly deal with this?
(Note: I know the baud rate & which port its in, but that's about it).
