I missed the discussion on linked list implementation awhile back.

I now need to implement a linked list on the Mac (or similar structure) and
would really appreciate a summary of the posts back then if somebody has
one still. 

I am going to be using a lot of small objects (~200 objects of say 296 
bits a piece) if this helps any.
