I wish that I had a clearly convincing reason for why the "Clear" function was removed. All I have is the reason put forth in a study done when the keyboard functions were redesigned, which is that using Clear would be in violation of the HI Guidelines. I'm not sure what that means. Anyway, here's a secret. (I don't think it's that big of a secret, but I hope the MPW guys done kill me, just the same. Actually, I didn't even know it was a secret until I failed to find it in the release notes.) Type "SetKeys" in the Shell, and examine the output.
