System 7 does us the favour of remembering that we have pushed our trash cans down into the very bottom left corner. We can also push our hard drive icons up and to the right, but the system can't remember those positions for the next startup. Can anyone suggest how we might persuade the Finder to remember those new locations? -- Stan Armstrong.
