Sci., Urbana, IL Lines: 12 I have noticed the odd startup behavior with just a single Applecolor monitor and applecolor card. It looks like the system software initializes the video board twice during startup. This happened to me a few months in system 6.07, but after I reinstalled the system software, the problem went away. I was very concerned that this double-screen blanking would stress my monitor or video card since the nearby radio makes big noise every time it is initialized.
