Message-ID: <12904@uwm.edu> Date: 7 Jun 91 22:17:39 GMT Sender: news@uwm.edu Distribution: usa Organization: University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee Lines: 14 Originator: zark@csd4.csd.uwm.edu As an owner of a Mac Plus, I find that my System file is a lot bigger than (I think) it needs to be. There are a few resources in there that have absolutely no use to me, such as the color icon resources. My question is, is it possible, and/or profitable to streamline the System by removing the resources that have no use? Say, for instance, I remove all the resources that use Color Quickdraw, would my System still work fine, and most importantly, would it be smaller? Faster? -- (Steve Kosloske) | "When the bottle's empty, the ------------------------------------| lecture's over. " - The agent for Internet: zark@csd4.csd.uwm.edu | gonzo journalist Hunter S.
