    I propose that we create a new newsgroup, COMP.SYS.PRIME, to be used as an
open forum for the discussion of computing in a Prime environment.  This
newsgroup would not be limited to discussions about the Prime 50 series or
PRIMOS; any products supported by Prime Computer/Computervision could be
discussed.

    The group would be unmoderated.

    The voting period will begin on July 15th, 1991, assuming that there are
no major disagreements with either the group's proposed name or charter.
