Lately, some of the Optical Disks Drives in out lab have been
acting somewhat strangly. The symptom is not dust, as all the
drives have been cleaned. It looks more like the drives have 
gone out of sync, as the symptoms are similar to what an old
Apple II+'s Drive II would do when the drives either slowed 
down or speeded up too much.

So, I was wondering if anyone happened to have or know of some
Optical Drive diagnotics routines, similar to Copy II+'s that
will report drive speed errors and other problems on the NeXT.
