I have upgraded my system to '040 board and the 2.0 software. I currently do not have a harddrive and I'm running off of just the optical. I will get a hard disk someday, but I'm wondering what to do for the immediate future as I'm running out of space on my optical. (Down to 16.3 MEG!!) Can I use my old 1.0 disk as a data disk by removing all the 1.0 system software? Any opinions, words of caution, or advice would be greatly appreciated. (I also have a floppy drive in case this fact will alter any suggestions.) Also.... my system seems to be running slower as of late. Could this be linked to limited free space on optical? Thanks, Keith P.S. Is there a good vendor/source for additional optical disks? (My deal with Businessland fell through....I HATE THAT COMPANY!!!!. Chapter 11 is only too good for them!!! May they cease to exist.)
