The specs for Betacam on the VideoFramer brochure are as follows:

Betacam		Y/R-Y/B-Y 525 Line.	Selectable setup on Y.
		Y U V 625 Line.
--------------------------------------------------------------

What occupies me is the distinction of the encodings for 525 and 625 lines.
What does it mean?  

(I would have expected something like "Y/R-Y/B-Y 625 lines".)
