How can I plot the piecewise linear curve which goes through those points (something like PIC)? (2) Suppose I have the figure in .ps (which may be the postscript translation of a Troff/Pic file) file, can I just insert it in the LaTeX file? How? (3) Anybody willing to mail me his/her (old) LaTeX file with math, table and figure all in one? This might be the fastest way to change to LaTeX.
