Lines: 18 Actually, I've got it working somewhat now. What I did was express each character in nroff units and set Char, Adj and Em accordingly. I think most of the remaining discrepancies come from faulty estimates of the individual character sizes and the in accuracy of the printer in moving fractions of an inch. I realize that all of this is a farce but its become a mini- obsession with me. nroff could have been written to do a lot more with line printers.
