This is a bug in the Ultrix 4.1 kernel (and perhaps 4.0); I believe it only affects MIPS-based systems (not Vaxen). Anyway, it's fixed in Ultrix 4.2. I don't know if there's a patch available for Ultrix 4.1, but if there is one it would be a new kern_clock.o module. -Jeff
