Hi,

I have the X11R4 patches for Xenix intalled on my 386 that
were posted by Chain last Winter. I also purchased the
socket driver directly from Chain. I have been able to
get the VGA monochrome mode to work but none of the
Trident drivers seem to work. Since Chain received
my money I have not been able to get him to reply to
email about the problems I've had with the Trident
drivers.

I have a Trident 8900 Super VGA chipset. Chains drivers
for the Trident 8800 die whorable deaths. Has anyone
patched or written a new driver for the 8900 chip set?

In particular has anyone written a high resoulution
driver for the 8900? This chipset supports 1024x768
in 256 colors.

If someone is willing to do the port I will happily
provide the X11R4 sources and binaries for Xenix including
the socket driver.
