Why does the close work on Xenix 386  2.3.2 with the stock SCO cartridge tape
driver and not on a Xenix 386 2.3.2 utilizing the stock SCO SCSI drivers.

	
	fd = open("/dev/rct0", 2, 0777);

	closev = close(fd);

The close on the SCSI tape machine returns errno = 5 (EIO).  The return
code on close for the Cart. Machine are fine.
