I've got a couple of questions about OpenWindows, (running on a Sun SLC, OS 4.2 release 3.5). Hope somebody can help. 1. How do you write your own rootmenu? I wrote a file in the format described in the buildmenu man-page, and put it in ~/.openwin-menu as instructed. No effect. I exited from openwin and re-started it. Again, no effect. How do I have to hold my tongue to make this work? 2. Assuming that I figure out how to change the rootmenu, I want to have a menu-item for changing the working directory of the rootmenu. Is there a way? The only way I've figured out is to exit from openwin, execute "cd" in the shell, then start openwin again, a process that takes minutes. Any ideas?
