(*Not* toggle) Message-ID: <18189@venera.isi.edu> Date: 6 Jun 91 20:33:23 GMT Sender: news@isi.edu Distribution: comp Organization: USC-ISI Lines: 21 Is there any keyboard selection shortcut that allows you to set (or unset) a check box without regard for how it was set before (i.e., not toggle, but set). For example, I want to write a batch file that opens a dialog box sets a check box (without knowing if its currently set or not), then sends an OK. My problem is that the shortcut just toggles it. I need to *know* that I just turned it on, not flipped it. Conversely, is there any DDE-known way to query the status of check boxes in a dialog?
