Windows losing memory? Message-ID: <43038@cup.portal.com> Date: 7 Jun 91 03:55:48 GMT Distribution: usa Organization: The Portal System (TM) Lines: 16 Greetings! I'm running a 386 with 4MB of memory. When I start Windows, a memory check using Kfree shows approx 3.75 MB of memory available, but only 256K of contiguous memory available. This is confirmed when I try to load more than one program! I have had Windows running for six months now and this has never happened before. I haven't loaded anything new lately. I have no viruses. What could be doing this? *Please* reply to neptune@netcom.com Thank you, Dwayne Farley
