I have 386sx machine with 4 MB of RAM. I tried using wordperfect 5.1 and ran it in a dos window and found that I couldnt use the mouse nor could I use any graphics within wordperfct to view as it would say other high resolution graphics are on and I couldn't use it. When I ran it in full screen from windows using a .pif file, I found it the same as when running the program in the non-windows mode. Am I able to run wp5.1 in the back ground in a dos window full screen and be able to multitask? Also I have a communication program called smarterm 240 and when I ran this in windows it would insert the greek chracter phi all over the place in between text. Is there a way I can get rid of this. Last of all is there any good written documentation anywhere or any expert out there who knows how to run DOS in full windows (in full screen) and sized up windows? I would greatly appreciate if someone could give me advice on this and the way I should set up the memory when running DOS applications. Thanks again in advance. Stephanie
