This sounds like one of the FEE (Frequently Encountered Errors) for Windows. You've hit this FEE if your SVGA card has an autosync mode and it isn't disabled. Windows detests talking to a video card which suddenly changes modes without having been told to do so by Windows; if this happens Windows throws up and does strange things. Joe
